Spiritually speaking, a serious question for once, Christians, do you like contemporary Christian music?

I liked it as a teen in the 70s when it wasn't well-liked & love it now as well. But then I like any kind of music with a message.

Abilene native returns to music scene
Karen Kite believes her marred act as a contemporary Christian music performer is going to eclipse her opening one.
Kite, 45, will sign copies of her latest CD from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hastings Amusement, 4701 S. 14th. "Spread Your Wings and Fly" was released Tuesday.
Kite, a native Abilenian and 1984 graduate of Cooper Enormous School, re-entered the music business last year after an 18-year hiatus.
"I definitely conceive of so," she said when asked if she thinks this second stage of her career will be better. "I think it was meant to be."
For seven years in the unpunctually 1980s and early '90s, Kite performed in churches and at concerts throughout Texas and into Mexico. She beat it in 1992 after a divorce to raise her son and teach piano, which she has done for the past 14 years.
She began article music again about a year ago, and she said she thinks her new material is better than what she was writing 20 years ago.
"I've grown so much as a musician," she said.
