Does anyone have a NONalcoholic recipe for "Hot Scotch"...I lost my recipe from an Amish cookbook?

Years ago, I had an Amish Cookbook which contained a luscious beverage recipe called "Hot Scotch." It is the equivalent of Hot Chocolate, only butterscotch flavored rather than. It's different, but satisfying like Hot Chocolate, especially in

I am looking for the programme, but in the meantime I found this one, and it looks so good I am going to go make some right now!!! Non-alcoholic, butterscotchy, yum yum yum...lol.
I will let you conscious if I find the original recipe, but until

I'm publishing a family Cookbook. Any suggestions for a name? I was thinking of Our Family Table (to yours...)

It will be full of genuine Amish cooking recipes.

BTW- If you are Amish, how are you powering your computer? Treadmill connected to some generator?

Do you have this recipe?

I once had a immature apple pie recipe from this book, "Wanda E. Brunstetter's Amish Friends Cookbook". It was very unceremonious and few ingredients. There was no crust. Sliced apples, brown sugar, but I cannot remember the rest.

I don't have that ticket, but I found a recipe that looks like what you're describing. Hope it helps :)

Amish Delight Apple Pie

3 cups apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar

Chow chow makes use of end of season veggies

Slave-driver Sgt. Donald A. Gunn of Gulfport and Thelma McGaughran of Hattiesburg sent in their favorite chow chow recipes.

“I am of Pennsylvania Dutch legacy and ate plenty of chow chow as a boy,” said Gunn. “I have sent a couple of recipes for chow chow, one from a Pennsylvania Dutch cookbook and the other from an Amish cookbook. Fancy these will help the person looking for chow chow.”

“Recently, someone requested a chow chow technique,” McGaughran said. “I have no idea what recipe the lady who sells hot dogs uses, but my agriculturist neighbor in the Ozarks used the one from the old ‘Fanny Farmer Cookbook’ and mainly gave me a few jars. I think it is pretty good, but if possible I would like to know what the hot dog lady’s is.”

McGaughran also sent another means from “The Ozark Collection.” She said this chow chow recipe makes a smaller lot.

I’ll keep tracking our hot dog lady.
