What is considered good art and by whose standards?

What art schools in Europe would you recommend for higher studies?

Hello. I would be inclined if You shared your opinion about studies of visual arts in high European art schools, be it academy or university.
I'm in point of fact looking for studies in English language, and I'm particularly interested in schools,


For an English speaking art boarding-school, check out Glasgow School of Art. That's where I'd go for graduate school if I had any money.

Downtown Boone Art Crawl Friday

Hosted every first Friday of the month (this time on Aug. 5), the Downtown Boone Art Creep sees area galleries and businesses open their doors in celebration of art, community and a mix of the two, oftentimes served alongside refreshments and live music.

Hands Gallery (543 W. Prince St.) will be open until 8 p.m., featuring the work of longtime cooperative member Chrissie Callejas, who creates single and whimsical paintings and sculptures. In addition to Callejas, the gallery features work by 19 other district artists.

Gladiola Girls (549 W. King St.) hosts stained glass artist Debi Dwyer, whose reward-winning work has appeared at festivals and shows from southern Florida to the beaches of Virginia and everywhere in between. Dwyer and her friends at Gladiola Girls will address visitors from 5 to 8 p.m., promising an evening of art, refreshments and conversation.
