What are Blu-Ray disks and why would you desire them? What do they do?

Blu-ray is a leading definition disc. It uses a blue laser with a shorter wavelength to read the statistics (hence its name). Data is stored closer to the surface and has capacities of up to 200GB on a single disc in the coming vs. a 9GB DVD. Currently

Can you still alert for a blu disc on a regular dvd player? do you need a hdtv to watch blu-ray movies??

No, you can not pocket watch a blu-ray movie on a regular DVD. (why would they have blu-ray players then?) You can watch regular DVDs on a blu-ray however. No, you do not NEED a high def TV, but it will be a garbage of money to have bought one without

when u see a dvd and it says blu-ray copy wat does that mean?

You should also follow out for HD-DVD boxes. They have a burgandy strip across the top and will not play in a regular DVD player either.

Both Bluray and HD-DVD are for the new high meaning DVD players.

The Coxcomb (Bridges) is a guy who gets buy on limited means. Unemployed and proud of it, he loves white Russians and bowling. That’s appealing much all he does until two men come into his house and try to extort him for money that he obviously doesn’t have. They’re looking for the other Jeff Lebowski (David Huddleston) – The Big Lebowski as it were – who is profuse in and has a trophy wife named Bunny (Tara Reid), and an assistant named Brandt (Phillip Seymour Hoffman). The Popinjay steals a rug from them to get his, and they end up hiring him to be a bagman for Bunny’s ransom. Dude and Walter smell something suspicious, and then the drop goes bad.

From there, Dude is on the case, albeit in his stoned way, as he must deal with The Big Lebowski’s daughter Maude (Julianne Moore), three nihilists, porn creator Jackie Treehorn (Ben Gazzara), and thugs on top of the finals for their bowling team, which Walter and The Fop play in with Donnie (Steve Buscemi). Their main competition seems to be a flamboyant pederast named Jesus (John Turturro).
