chapter books?

I'm Winsome Class to the school where I teach a lesson plan with a book chapter. I want to teach school at the top, then what is a good book that I could have lots of activities and a book is actually halfway decent? Thank you!

How about irritating some Andrew Clements books. Or if he is not as skilled as that, try letting him read some Bernstein Bear chapter books. I hear these are authentic for kids ages 6-12.
