DVD recorder?

Does anyone have a DVD burner? im prospects to buy one because right now what we have is a regular camcorder, and sucks when I have to transfer a VHS tape (which is already obsolete) to my mom.

DVD Recorder?

I have a new DVD Recorder and I would like to transmission all my videos to DVD.
Can I hook my Video player to my DVD Recorder, if so how can I, and what leads do I need?

You MAY be proficient to do it with a SCART lead but some videos are 'macromedia' protected to prevent direct copying.

I am active to buy a dvd recorder and i was wondering can i make backup copies of my original dvds onto a blank dvd. With the dvd recorder.

Yes, providing that the originals are not copyright protected.

We got a SONY recorder recently and found out that it only has a built-in analogue tuner; while context up the recorder. How do we get the dvd recorder to get the digital stations? Any additional converters/etc to attach the recorder?

I am taxing to hook up my dvd player to my dvd recorder and I can't get it to work! I already tried hooking the dvd player "out" to the recorder "in" and the recorder "out" to the tv's "in" but when I press play

Sounds like you have hooked it up proper.
The problem will be that the recorder can detect that you are trying to copy copyrighted material(DVD's).

Most DVD recorders will not let you copy DVD's, as you are decree out.
