I get all my State school books online, and would like to purchase an e book reader to put them on. Is there an e book reader that you can download e books on from any website? Or even transfer them from your computer?

The number of eBooks sold continues to grow after enormous traditional book sales in early 2011. In addition to the online retail trade, dominated by Amazon, there is an exponentially growing appetite for free eBooks. While Google has been flourishing with “Google Books”, it seems that they aren’t the only player and certainly don’t have the last word in digital publishing undeterred by the media attention they command.
Google Books surpassed the 2.5 million tick for eBook downloads, according to The Huffington Post on June 1st, 2011. However, there are smaller players, like Unconditioned-eBooks.net competing strongly in this space. In fact, Free-eBooks.net, has experienced take down amounts of downloads too, as eBook reader sales double and billions of smartphone users couple in, to solidify the acceptance of the “eBook.”
