Why is the old King James version of the Bible preferred by many?

In the church, a copy of people feel that the old King James Bible (oKJV or KJV) is the only true, God sanctioned version of the Bible. Others seem to think it is the most accurate. Yet, a reading of the reading shows it to be an archaic form of English

It's habitual, but a lot think it has a closer translation to it's original 'meaning'. And it's easier to deconstruct when it's already written unquestionable to read. Plus, as I have read that version several times word for word and come from a zealot

What makes the King James Version of the Bible so special?

It seems as if so many people in my church have this idea that the King James Bible is the only Bible that contains the truth, and the New International Version is a pack of lies. What makes the KJV version so much excel than the others? The NIV was translated

Well - first, the security that the King James Version (KJV) is the best bible is a religious belief. By that I mean: it is faith-based, not fact-based. I will not address it further here, but I *will* offer some facts below.
