Are Carl Zeiss lens better than Canon lens?

I want to buy either a Sony or Canon camera and my friends told me to get a Sony because Carl Zeiss lens the better.

I Carl Zeiss lens on my Sony camera is useful, but Cannon lens are excellent. I think it's like comparing apples to apples. Moving the camera that has the feathers that you want.

Assuming this is for a Canon camera and not some Micro Four Thirds camera

I would go with Canon for zooms.

I would go with Zeiss for primes.

UK networks announce Nokia Lumia 800 deals

UK ambulant customers will be able to buy Nokia’s new Lumia 800 handset from three of the country’s leading networks.

Three, Orange and T-Non-stationary have all confirmed they will be offering the Windows powered phone from next month.

The handset is made from a one piece polycarbonate essentials and features a curved 16 million colour, 3.7” touchscreen.

As well as running the new Mango form of Windows Phone, the Nokia Lumia 800 combines Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin feeds, palaver and SMS into one conversation.

Hardware specs include a 1.4 GHZ processor to offer a lightening solid performance, an 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and LED flash, A-GPS and Bluetooth 2.1.

Orange says it will offer upgrading pay monthly unstationary customers a free Xbox 360 when they take the handset on an 18 or 24 month condense.

Stablemate T-Mobile will offer the phone for free to customers taking out a 24 month, £30 evaluation plan.
