Frequently Asked Questions

A question for people who use Carl Zeiss lenses on Canon EOS cameras?

What do you think of them? I plan to do for my Rebel T1i Zeiss.

BillyB is exactly wrong. Your camera accepts all Canon EF lenses with one or EF-S mount, but I'm sure you already know that.

Zeiss are very beautiful, but keep in mind that they are fully manual operation.

Which film cameras have used Carl Zeiss and Leica lens?

I've been very happy with my Sony and Panasonic digicams that use Carl Zeiss and Leica lens, but I was wondering if I can get a film camera, a SLR or a brief one, with these lens brands on it? Of course I've used Nikons and Canon with their property lens,

Well, you've got two critical options.

Contax is a Zeiss brand that was licensed to Kyocera, and Kyocera made quite a few excellent cameras that use Zeiss lenses. Zeiss also Euphemistic pre-owned the Contax brand long before it licensed

For a Digital Camera, which Lens amongst Carl Zeiss of Sony or Nikkor of Nikkon or Canon's gives best picture?

The Zeiss lenses are overrated, and their eminence days are in decades past in any event. There are people who rave about the sharpness of the images, but when you as a matter of fact test the lenses it just doesn't seem to be that way.

Carl Zeiss 1.7 50 lenses???

ok, so i'm idea of buying a new camera and i've heard that a lot of the Canon cameras are compatible with Carl Zeiss lenses. so my question is, which cameras are compatible with the Carl Zeiss 1.7f 50 lenses? do the Canon PowerShot S5 IS and the Canon

First, Carl Zeiss SLR lenses are not made with a Canon mount, they call for an adaptor. Currently, Zeiss make SLR lenses with an F mount (Nikon, but also used by Fuji and some Kodak models) K mount (Pentax and others) and M42 spiral thread. If you purchase
