I have to suppose a case study (this is my 1st one) about Starbucks. The central problem is Starbucks MARKETING. Essentially, Starbucks is struggling because it has lost its in perfect accord atmosphere.

1- Improving their design- making sure ALL Starbucks has contented seating (sofas, chairs with cushions etc)
I don't see how sacrifice would be a factor for #2. You must maintain the starbuck's standard of cleanliness, that is not a matter of price. You will evade business faster than you can blink if people think your restaurant is dirty.
