The celebration season has officially arrived now that Santa sightings are a regular occurrence. With such a busy flavour ahead, it made sense to file upcoming holiday events by date and put them all in calendar for easy planning. Make merry!

WHAT ‘Holiday Art Market’: The Newark Arts Alliance presents “Event Art Market,” a fundraiser featuring fine artwork and crafts perfect for talent-giving. Choose from work by 11 local artists, working in mediums that categorize jewelry, pottery, weaving, batik clothing, photography, paintings, prints and window charms; 20 percent of all sales will forward the NAA. WHEN The show runs through Dec. 30; hours for ‘Holiday Art Market’ are 11 a.m. 3 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with extended hours on Thursday and Saturday until 6 p.m. WHERE Newark Arts Affiliation, 276 E.
