MKS INSTRUMENTS, INC. : MKS Acquires EO3 Ozone Product Line from General Electric
Andover, MA, October 5, 2011 - MKS Instruments, Inc. (NASDAQ: MKSI), a extensive provider of technologies that enable advanced processes and improve productivity, and General Tense (GE), an advanced technology, services and finance company, announced today that MKS has acquired GE's EO3 descent of ozone generators which are used for water/ sterilization for bottled beverages and food applications lowering bacteria levels in get ready water (PW) from biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing, and for other water treatment applications. In assuming this subject, MKS also becomes a key Ozone supplier to GE for ozone-based water treatment applications.
