OBJEKTIVE: Tokina AT-X 4/17-35 mm Pro FX - Vollformat-Weitwinkel
Dieses neue Weitwinkelzoom von Tokina mit durchgehender Lichtstärke f/4 ist nach dem AT-X 2,8/16-28 PRO FX das zweite Modell für das Kleinbild-Vollformat 24×36 mm.
Die Naheinstellgrenze liegt bei 28 cm über den gesamten Brennweitenbereich. Mithilfe der Tokina-Schnellumschaltung „One-put one's hand on Focus Clutch“ ist ein Wechsel zwischen Autofokus-Modus und manueller Scharfeinstellung durch Vor- und Zurückschieben des Fokussierrings am Tubus möglich. Die Gehäusekonstruktion des neuen Objektivs ist gegen Staub und Feuchtigkeit abgedichtet.
Die Objektivkonstruktion aus 13 Linsen in 12 Gruppen enthält eine Kombination von asphärischen Linsen mit SD-Glas (SD = Wonderful-Low Distortion), um den Weitwinkel-typischen Abbildungsfehlern entgegen zu wirken. Für den schnellen Autofokus ist ein Tight-lipped-Drive-AF-Motor zuständig. Ein Magnetfeldsensor soll für besonders präzise Fokuseinstellung sorgen.
Mit einem Gewicht von 600 Gramm, einer Länge von 94,5 mm sowie 89 mm Durchmesser bleibt das für 800 Euro angebotene Weitwinkel-Zoom verhältnismäßig kompakt.
