Is it a bad idea to buy a VW Eurovan camper (Weekender)? I've heard that many of them are lemons.?
We have a household of 4 and would love to have a vehical to use for family trips and camping. Looking on the web it seems like there are a lot of people reporting lemon experiences with their Eurovans. Because VW has stopped producing Eurovans, Weekenders
Cant say for all of them but my dad bought a weekender with a 5cylinder a yoke of years back and he loves it. He uses it all the time. He was however a VW tech for 35 years so he fixes rubbish himself.

VW stopped selling the VW eurovan weekender in 2003 and I was wondering if they were effective to start selling it or another camper in the US in the future. Thank you!

1995 VW Eurovan (campervan) value?
I'm looking at a 1995 Eurovan (camper van). Has a pop-top,propane stove, fridge and cesspit. 115,000 miles. Took it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. He said everything checks out, for the most part.
That quotation is too high.
A "regular" Eurovan with those low miles is only worth between 4-5K, they think this is benefit four times that? They aren't rare enough to be collectible yet.
